Apprentice Responsibilities:

For all NWAGC Apprentices –

The Inland Northwest AGC Open Shop Apprenticeship Program has a check-in policy for all apprentices across programs.  We have voice mail on our phone system for apprentices to call when you get a job or are laid off. All apprentices must call and leave a message to share your updated employment status.

Call even if you think we know where you are working. You have a responsibility to give us your current mailing address and phone numbers. It is imperative that we have your current address and phone number; if a job comes up, we must be able to reach you.

Turning in your OJT Reports is part of our agreement as partners and is factored into your pay increases. It is part of your standards as an apprentice. Please have your OJT turned in by the 5th of each month.

The phone number for the Apprenticeship Office is (509) 534-0502.  The Apprenticeship Office address is 2110 N. Fancher Road, Spokane, WA  99212, Room 204.

Voicemail is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On the voice mail, please leave the following information, speaking slowly and clearly:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Which program you are enrolled in (Carpenter/Laborer/Operator)
  • If applicable: Where you are working and start date
  • If applicable: Where you were laid off from and date of lay-off
